9.30am – Received an SMS from Michelle saying that a cat was abused at Blk 9XX, with its whiskers burnt, lungs punctured, certain chemicals poured onto it’s body and also with broken hind legs.

1.45pm – reached the hospital and the cat was so lifeless. X-ray was taken and it’s …hopeless... We requested the vet to save the cat by all means, but eventually we decided to let the cat go…which was what the vet thought is best for the creature. The vet was a young guy, but an experienced one. He explained every single detail to us and we understand that it’ll be too risky for the operation to be carried out and…the cat can’t take it, it may just die once the aesthetic is injected. After careful considerations, we finally signed the form for the cat to be euthanised. We did not witness that but it was a rather sad scene…it was complete silence even though there were so many animals and people in the room.May it go peacefully…: (

3.05pm – Reached home. Emailed to all feeders in JW to watched out for any suspicious characters and then started my revision.

Michelle and I will be making a police report on this abused case once the medical report for the cat is ready in about 3 days time. We also took photos of the cat's body which is to be submitted to the police officers in charge. It's a pity that we did not make an official police report on the previous case...
