The abuser at Changi strikes again!
It was published in the papers today and above are the photos of just one of the cats that died from the abused, According to the papers, numerous cats were abused and found dead, screwdrivers and metal wires were use to strangled the cats the death.
Extracted from 'Today': In recent months, residents of the Old Airport Road area often heard piteous cries of cats…
…their bodies are then usually laid out neatly on the top decks of Block 56A, Cassia Crescent and Block 93A, Jalan Dua multi- storey carparks.
… But the killings still go on. Residents are restless and worried. More worryingly, residents have also reported more than one abuser in the vicinity.
I get so mad when such incidents happen and what’s worse, the police, someone who enforces the law are saying that they will not investigate such matters with the lack of evidence. Will they say this when it’s a person who’s dead? I’m sure if it’s a human who’s dead or just injured, the police WILL investigate even with no evidence. Does it means that a person can only make a report when a animal is seen abused till it's dead? Are we going to witness or even tape down the whole process so that we'll get what we call evidence...by then, the animal is dead, what's the point?
Obviously, animal cruetly is becoming a a seious issue, it should no longer be swept under the rug...
Just some thoughts on animal welfare...
