Just watched the movie ‘Beautiful Boxer’ that was on Channel U.

It’s based on a true story.

A young guy named Nong Toom, a Thai Kickboxer that defeated countless opponents, fought like a man to become a woman…He loves to put on make ups and did that even in the ring where he was against others boxers. This movie was a touching one and there were moments whereby I was a little emotional… Many others, even his friends, laughed, look down, despise, and mentioned that he was a shame to the country. Cutting it short, he finally knew what he always wanted, what he dreamt for, what to do so that he can be happy…he chose to have an operation with his understanding parents’ consent to change his sex…

After watching it, I feel those transsexuals are to be respected, what you think? My own view here, they have feelings and have no differences from others. I respect Nong Toom and his courage, how many out there dares to do what he did and what’s worse, facing the every day’s negative remarks from all others. I’m sure no one wants to be loath, sneer or despise by others. What they want is to be understand by every single one in terms of why they did what they did…

I'm only respecting transsexual, not those who make themselves 'cheap' by using their bodies as 'machines' to earn money... This includes prostitudes and transssexuals that do 'business' out there!

Just some thoughts, posting again soon : P
