Half of my class went to Clementi Town Pri for our CIP this afternoon. Our mission - to coach/play/interact with kids (P1-3) from broken families.
Some kids were hostile toward us when we arrived. Their fist hit some of my classmates when we tried to get near them. Then, one scolded me ‘lanjiao’, another said ‘cheebye’ repeatedly and finally an Indian kid jokingly said wanting to cut off my cock! =__= It’s so….’ They are just primary school kids from P1 to 3 leh! And there was one who goes, ‘ 100 ways to kill me’, ‘100 ways to fly’, ‘100 ways to shit’, ‘ 100 ways to eat’…and goes non stop. =_=’ I’ll want a 100 ways to shut his garrulous
mouth!
I’m not maddened by them or anything, but sympathizing them with broken families at such young age : ( It’s a different scenario when it’s someone mature that have broken families or with no parents, at least they can think, knowing what’s wrong and right etc. This is not the case here; these kids need people to guide them, probably teachers. Does a P1 kid know so many things?
It’s heartbreaking to see them sad or such, some cried leh! just because they want to stick or to be close to a particular student or teacher. Is this because they lack love and concern from their parents, which they might not have? Some are from single parent families while few other may be from ‘no parents’ families, they are more unfortunate, agree?
