Rescued a kitten and a puppy : )

Yesterday right after work, Isabel and I spotted a kitten in a bushes along Jalan Kayu and just metres in front of it, is a road with busy traffic...making the situation worse, there was a moniter lizard that is slightly less than a metre long about 2m from it.

We suspect that other siblings of this kitten may have been eaten up by the moniter lizard which was resting when we spotted it. Isabel and I stood there for about 1/2 an hour lor before finally deciding to bring it into the cattery..haix..We're not sure whether we made the right choice, she is a very young kitten and if this she gets cat flu from the cattery, she may not survive : (

And today, after work again, we heard a puppy's loud cries as if it was trapped. The cries lead to a deep drain and we spotted the poor fellow inside it. The rain was heavy and the water was flowing fast, and the soaked puppy was almost flushed away with all the rubbish in the drain. Anyway, glad that the puppy was quite friendly and we managed to get it out after some time : ) There were no signs of any other siblings that may have been wash away...

Haix...animals in distress...I really hope that I will no longer come across all these. IF the puppy wasn't friendly and was a timid one, how are we going to approach him, with the possibility that he'll snap at us...
