Phone calls…n some other thoughts…

I’ve been getting lots of phone calls ever since the day I started helping strays. Some are from people you know of while most from people I don’t know.

And these calls that I am referring to, is always when people locate animals, injured, sick etc. And the callers ask things like this,

He/She: ‘Can you come down and take a look at a bleeding/ badly injured dog/cat?’

Me: ‘Go down for?’

He/She: You are into animal welfare leh!’or ‘Aren’t you helping animals?’

Me: Why cant you help it instead?

There is a limit to how much one can do. Yes, some may say at least the person made the effort to call ME and that’s a good thing, mayb ba…

But why am I the one to help the animals that you wanna help? If you do come across an animal in need (very badly injured etc), you are responsible and should get it to the vet immediately! You can call me and I’ll try to help by providing advice, or any assistance in other ways etc IF I can. But on the other hand, why waste time on me in circumstances where time is critical?

I’ll not b the one responsible for the animal. YOU are! I always believe that ‘animal welfare people’ SHOULDN’T be responsible for all the animals in need, EVERYONE should!

Dober’s case- the Chairman. I fucking hate him now. Are all people like that? For a particular position, you need to ‘act’ as someone to please everyone? And you need to speak behind others’ back to gain the respect from the person listening to you gossip or bullshit..

Yes, you are right. In cases like Dober’s, there WILL always be unhappy / dissatisfied parties.
And through this case, I realized and should all along know, some people are fake. These people say things depending on who is at the scene. e.g is a member of an organisation standing in front of his chairman.

For instance, I say 'I agree' when I'm with animal lovers and 'er...may not be the best choice lor' when I'm with my chairman...WTF!
