..has been another eventful year. For the first 4 months, I’m working and in April, someone called up and said I was into a Higher Nitec course in ITE. Then 2 days after that call, I started reporting daily to an institute.
Then everything started again after many months of work in an animal shelter, I totally forget what school life was. Everything simply refers to those test, revisions, notes =.= SIANX. On the other hand, good news : ) I passed all the whatever tests, exams, stupid roleplays on Front office manager etc..not with flying colours but at least a passing rate.
For this year, first time I got a very stable job and income thanks to my boss. So every school holiday I’d report to work and I enjoy working : ) And also, A, a new feeder pop out in my area so we started sharing cost to feed/sterilize strays etc, sharing the load also, she feeds 3 days while me, 4. Not so tight on my pocket too. But these days she's quite busy so I've been feeding.
And I’m communicating well with all friends too – ex –schoolmate, yeow and gang, outside friends, colleagues etc, we still hang around once in a blue mood but still have fun though. And of course, got to know new friends, ‘SGA people’, ‘animal welfare people' like HG, E, G (yea u guess who Im referring to : D), new lecturers in school, even canteen stallholders and the list don’t stops…
Hmm..what else…some of fortunate strays got adopted in the 2 adoption drives and some poor fellas killed by dogs before they are adopted haix : ( Sad but be realistic, can’t rescue all, no money also. Then had a recapped, this year I realize I adopted out lots of black white kittens. And got a lot of first time animals I rescued this year – rabbits, pigeon and a terrapin the maid in shelter found in the stuck longkang. The poor terrapin I housed at the shelter I'm working at and one day, it just dissapear.
Then going to year end, there comes Dober, a dog that the neighbourhood rescued. His presence taught be a lot, taught me how fake some people are, how wholeheartedly can a gang of cao ah beng and lians get together to help just a dog. Taught me that the well educated are the ones that are damn cheebye scheming and those that goes around vadalising, fighting, stealing, smoking and so on are those that stand and voice out for the needy ones. Hmm I mean in Dober’s case : ) And his case also taught me that there are still kind souls around...from the total of around $1200 raised for everything...tail docking, sterilisation, boarding etc. And not forgetting his LOTS of food donated that Sandy names 'Kibbles of love!' : D
Finally an unforgettable one in October, the leaving of my grandma : ( Till now I still miss her at times. Her departure showed me how bad people can be, how people whom I highly respected is actually so despicable... and most importantly, how her departure had impacted a great change on those who loves her deeply...
Hmmm..that’s all I can recall for now for year 2007 : ) Gotta go watch TV : )
