An update

Here’s a recent update for everyone.

Usual New Year this year- nothing special. Went to relatives, friends’ house as usual for visitation and not forgetting - angbaos! What’s different was I did not go back to Malaysia this year, nor did they come. Everyone acted like it was a normal day.

For so many damn long years, only recently did I realize that my family in M’sia was complicated with people from all sorts of backgrounds. And these people seem not to mind losing, or to the extend of sacrificing their love ones, for the benefit of themselves or whom they deem to love.

I miss my cousins and friends there – a lot. But I doubt I will be going back to that place where most people are not as simple as they look or maybe use to be. Am I going to lose contact with every single one there like what happened to some of my buddies who shared everything with me or am I going to change my perspective one day and accept them for who they are? I don’t know.

Anyway, Ah meng died peacefully few days back and today, another orang-utan died. The rest of the orang-utans tried to save it but failed. Sad fact.

Ehh..what else what else…school. Quite a few challenging projects and presentation had passed very smoothly. There are 2 more final exams in March and then a month’s holiday!
